A meeting of the Presidium of the Union of Transport Workers of Kazakhstan, KAZLOGISTICS, was held in Astana. The meeting summarized the Union’s activities for 2025 and identified priority areas for 2026. Kanat Almagambetov, General Director of the Union, presented the results of program initiatives and outlined key objectives for the development of the country’s transport and logistics sector.
The heads of the working groups on transport modes reported on the current state of affairs in the industry and identified problematic issues requiring joint solutions from businesses and the government. During the meeting, the Presidium members approved the target contribution of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC to finance the Union’s activities and the KAZLOGISTICS corporate fund, and amended the organization’s Charter, structure, and staffing.
In addition, the participants discussed the admission of new members and other organizational aspects. The decisions taken are aimed at strengthening cooperation between market participants, developing infrastructure, and improving the efficiency of Kazakhstan’s transport and logistics industry.
