The container terminal showed the greatest growth, handling 623,731 TEU (+14%), supported by new capacity in the inland markets, high occupancy rates in European ports and the reorganization of shipping lines from the Far East. Car transhipment increased by 10% to 452,049 units, driven by the import of Chinese models and the export of European cars to the Mediterranean. The growth in cargo turnover had a positive impact on the financial results: revenue amounted to €187.7 million (+15% compared to the previous year), operating profit — €52.8 million (+41%), and net profit — €43.5 million (+33%). The increase in expenses was due to the growth in labor and material costs, while service and depreciation expenses decreased.
