From 1 September 2025, Hupac will strengthen the intermodal connection between Busto Arsizio (North-West Italy) and Basel (Northern Switzerland) by adding three additional weekly round trips. This will increase the total number of departures to eight per week, significantly increasing the capacity of the route.
The expanded schedule will make the service more competitive, offering customers greater operational flexibility and additional loading capacity on the key transport corridor between Italy and Switzerland.
In addition, the Hupac terminal in Busto Arsizio will continue to offer daily connections to Marchianise, Pomezia and Bari, providing extensive coverage of domestic routes in Italy.
