The EU and Central Asia are discussing the implementation of projects on the Trans-Caspian route within the framework of the Global Gateway.

A thematic session dedicated to the development of the Trans-Caspian Transport Route (TITR) was held in Munich as part of the European Union’s Global Gateway initiative. The focus was on turning strategic plans to expand logistics connectivity with Central Asia into real infrastructure and commercial projects.

The event brought together representatives of European companies, public and private entities, including JSC NC KTZ and the Sary-Arka International Airport, who presented their information stands and vision of integration into international transport chains. Participants discussed the prospects for work along the TITR route and opportunities for investment, infrastructure modernization and strengthening ties with Europe.

The session was organized by the Eastern Committee of German Economy together with the logistics operator Rhenus Group, becoming a platform for strengthening the dialogue between the countries of Central Asia and the EU in the field of sustainable and mutually beneficial transport integration.
