Azerbaijan Railways (ADY), part of AZCON Holding, took part in the international exhibition Transport Logistic 2025, which was held from June 2 to 5 in Munich. ADY Chairman Rovshan Rustamov held a number of bilateral meetings with the heads of leading transport and logistics companies. During the talks with China Railway Container Transport Corp. President Yang Bin, the development of cooperation within the framework of the “One Belt – One Road” initiative, as well as the strengthening of multimodal transportation and digitalization of cargo tracking on the China-Black Sea route were discussed.

Particular attention was paid to the participation of the Chinese side in the joint company Middle Corridor Multimodal Ltd. A meeting was also held with the CEO of Beijing Trans Eurasia International Logistics Wansu Dong, where the parties discussed increasing the volume of container transportation between China and Europe via Azerbaijan, as well as prospects for expanding cooperation within the Middle Corridor.
As part of the exhibition, Rovshan Rustamov held talks with the CEO of the Port of Burgas (Bulgaria) Boris Balev and representatives of HHLA International (Port of Hamburg), focusing on coordination between ports for the effective organization of Middle Corridor routes.
At meetings with representatives of Rhenus Group (Germany) and ÖBB Rail Cargo Group (Austria), the possibilities of joint projects for organizing cargo transportation in the China-Europe-China direction via the territory of Azerbaijan were discussed. The head of ADY emphasized the strategic role of the country as a key hub of the East-West route, including the use of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.
