From the end of August, Contargo will be operating its own direct rail line between Dourges in France and Duisburg in Germany. The new route will operate on a fixed schedule with three round trips per week, offering a sustainable and reliable transport solution.
This route opens up extensive possibilities for onward rail transport: from Dourges to French cities such as Bordeaux, Lyon, Paris, Marseille, Fos-sur-Mer, Mirama, Muggers, Perpignan and Rennes; from Duisburg to Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria and even China, via the Duisburg Intermodal Terminal (DIT).
The new service strengthens Contargo’s position as a key intermodal operator and expands access to important European and Asian logistics routes.
