French logistics group CMA CGM has completed the acquisition of Belgian cargo airline Air Belgium, continuing to actively develop its own aviation division CMA CGM Air Cargo, founded in 2021.
As a result of the deal, CMA CGM’s fleet was expanded with four freighters previously owned by Air Belgium. The company now has nine freighters on its balance sheet, significantly strengthening its position in the air transport sector.
