Ziegler Group has introduced a new rail service, Consol Box, connecting China with the company’s logistics hub in Welkenraadt, Belgium. The solution focuses on speed (17-18 days on the road), sustainability and full logistics control – from pick-up throughout China to final delivery across Europe, including the UK, Germany and France.
The service offers flexible transport conditions (LCL and FCL), GPS tracking and integrated customs and warehousing services. Particular attention is paid to sustainability – CO₂ emissions are reduced by 95% compared to air freight. In addition, Ziegler has expanded its consolidation network in Asia: shipments from Japan, South Korea, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam are transported to China by sea, air and road, from where they are sent by train to Europe.
The new route reflects the Ziegler Group’s strategy to develop sustainable and highly efficient logistics solutions between Asia and Europe. The company guarantees high quality service, reserved space on trains and full transparency of transport thanks to online monitoring.
