Belgian logistics company KDL is expanding its infrastructure with a new 18,000 m² warehouse in Lokeren. The facility is equipped with the advanced Movu Robotics Atlas Shuttle automation system, which manages more than 22,000 pallet positions in automatic mode and 11,000 in manual mode, supporting both Euro pallets and industrial pallets weighing up to 1,200 kg.
With a ceiling height of 15 meters, 20 loading bays and a temperature-controlled area, the warehouse is optimized to serve various customers and product categories. Autonomous shuttles, vertical lifts and software from Movu ensure high throughput and scalability.
The new project strengthens the partnership between KDL and Movu Robotics, whose headquarters are also located in Lokeren. The combination of the two automated facilities will allow synchronization of processes and IT systems, ensuring stability and efficiency of operations.
