In the Polish city of Chelm, at the junction of the broad and European gauge railways, the construction of a new intermodal dry port is beginning. Its main task is to transship grain in the combined transport system between Poland and Ukraine. The project is being implemented by the Polish Industrial Development Agency together with Cedrob Terminale.
The terminal infrastructure will include the modernization of railway tracks, the construction of new tracks, a warehouse and drying complex with a capacity of up to 100 thousand tons, as well as access to Highway No. 12 and a 1520 mm gauge. The contractor for the design and build project is TorKol, and the completion of construction is scheduled for mid-2026.
In parallel, ARP is implementing a second logistics project in Chelm – a warehouse and production center with an area of 5.6 thousand square meters with office space, access roads and a parking lot for trucks. It will also be integrated into the Poland-Ukraine transport corridor and will be completed in 2026.
