From 28 April 2025, the intermodal service between Busto Arsizio and Padova will be transferred to the Novara terminal. This decision is part of the strategy to optimise the transport network and improve the efficiency of logistics operations.
The transfer will reduce delivery times thanks to the new A-B format, increase the stability of transport and provide a more reliable connection between the north-west and north-east of Italy.
In addition, the Novara terminal will ensure better integration with international destinations, strengthening the route’s position in the overall European transport system.
