Minister of Transport of Kazakhstan Marat Karabayev held talks with Finnish Ambassador Janne Heiskanen, discussing key areas of cooperation in the transport sector. The focus was on decarbonization and the introduction of environmentally friendly technologies, as well as the development of sustainable transport infrastructure.
The Finnish side expressed interest in expanding cooperation, especially in the field of maritime logistics. In the near future, a business delegation from Finland plans to visit the ports of Aktau and Kuryk to study their potential and find opportunities for cooperation in the field of cargo transportation.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their commitment to further partnership, noting the importance of dialogue and joint initiatives for the modernization and greening of the transport sector.
