In January 2025, Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) recorded an increase in cargo transportation volumes in all segments. The largest increase was demonstrated by the transportation of dry cargo – 180,506 tons against 60,196 tons a year earlier, which corresponds to an increase of 200.65%.
The volume of tanker transportation also increased, reaching 359,362 tons (+9.38% compared to January 2024). Transportation of railway cars increased by 2.76%, amounting to 2,762 units, and transportation of trucks increased by 38.88% – to 4,139 vehicles.
The growth of indicators confirms the strengthening of ASCO’s position in the maritime transportation sector. The company continues to expand its transport capacities, ensuring the stable development of cargo shipping in the region.
