International logistics solutions provider CN Logistics has announced the launch of charter flights between Ezhou, China and Milan, Italy. The service is provided as part of a strategic partnership with Wuhan Financial Holdings and Hubei International Logistics, the company said in a press release.
According to the agreement, it is planned to operate two to three flights per week, focusing on the transportation of e-commerce goods, electronics, industrial products, luxury goods and wine. The goal of the initiative is to develop bilateral trade and facilitate business expansion abroad.
In the long term, CN Logistics and its partners intend to establish joint warehouses and expand the route network from Ezhou. The company called the new service the first step in this area, and plans to launch flights to countries in the Middle East and Africa in the future.
