The jubilee 300th container train along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) departed from the terminal in Xi’an (PRC). It goes through Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan, and its shipment was organized jointly with ADY Express (Azerbaijan) and Xi’an Free Trade Port (China).
According to Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, only 11 container trains passed through the TITR in transit last year, while their number has reached 300 since the beginning of 2024. The volume of transportation from China along the route amounted to more than 27 thousand TEU, which is 25 times higher than the same period last year.
