Avia Solutions Group, the world’s largest ACMI provider, announced a 25% increase in revenue for the first nine months of 2024 to €2.06 billion, and an increase in net profit to €83.3 million. The main revenue sources were Europe (55.1%) and Asia (27.9%), while the Americas, Africa and Australia contributed 15.7% of total revenue. The Group continues its aggressive expansion, launching Thai SmartLynx in Thailand in 2024, acquiring Australia’s Skytrans and planning new operating certificates in Malaysia, the Philippines and Brazil by 2025.

The Group also secured its first direct contract with Boeing for 80 737 MAX aircraft, with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2030. To support growth, a $300 million bond was successfully placed, and investors increased the group’s capital by €300 million. CEO Jonas Janukenas noted that expansion in Southeast Asia and other counter-cyclical regions helps optimize fleet utilisation in the off-season, which confirms the group’s long-term strategy.
