At the round table “Trans-Caspian Connectivity: Experience, Changes and Results” in Istanbul, Deputy General Director for Logistics of JSC “KTZ Express” A.I. Kapar presented the company’s key initiatives for the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR). The event brought together representatives of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey and other countries participating in the TITR working group.
A.I. Kapar emphasized the strategic role of the route connecting China, Central Asia and Europe. The company is actively developing terminal infrastructure along the TITR: the Kazakh-Chinese terminal in Xi’an is already operating, construction of a container hub in the port of Aktau and a logistics center in Almaty has begun. It is also planned to create new terminals in the ports of Alyat and Budapest, which will strengthen the route’s position in the international arena.
The speaker noted that the success of the TITR is achieved thanks to the well-coordinated coordination of the participating countries and international partners, which makes the route an important element of the global transport system.
