KTZ loaded a record volume of grain.

JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy recorded a record volume of grain transportation in November 2024, loading more than 1.4 million tons of the new crop. Of these, over one million tons were sent for export, and 350 thousand tons were delivered within Kazakhstan.

During the marketing period from September to November, grain transportation reached 3.7 million tons, which is 45% higher than last year. Exports increased by 51%, amounting to 2.9 million tons. The main destinations are Central Asia (+35%), Afghanistan (+58%), Iran (356 thousand tons against 14 thousand a year earlier) and China (445 thousand tons). 104 thousand tons were shipped to Azerbaijan in two months.

The company emphasized that the tasks set by the government are being fulfilled, including the freeing up of elevators: 793 thousand tons of grain were transported in three months, an increase of 29%. For uninterrupted logistics, KTZ provides sufficient rolling stock and round-the-clock control through grain headquarters.
