CER Austria Cargo GmbH was successfully registered in the Austrian Corporate Register as a 100% subsidiary of CER Cargo Holding SE. The next step is to apply for an Austrian railway license with the Austrian Ministry of the Environment, a positive decision is expected by April 2025.
This license will be a key step in the implementation of the company’s strategy to create a profitable private railway group capable of operating its own freight services between Hamburg and Istanbul/Athens. The company also plans to establish CER Germany Cargo GmbH.
