Aviator Airport Alliance, a full-service aviation company within the Avia Solutions Group, has announced the renewal of its partnership with Lufthansa Group at Copenhagen Airport (CPH) and a new agreement to handle Lufthansa Cargo’s cargo operations. This renewal of the partnership, which links CPH with Lufthansa destinations worldwide, is extended for an additional three years.
As part of the new contract, Aviator Airport Alliance will provide ground handling and de-icing services for more than 121 Lufthansa Group flights and one Lufthansa Cargo flight per week. The service will cover flights operated by Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and Swiss, as well as a variety of aircraft types, including CRJ-900, Embraer 190/195 and Airbus single-aisle aircraft such as the A220, A320 and A321.
In addition, Aviator Airport Alliance already cooperates with Lufthansa Group at Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) and Gothenburg Airport (GOT). Lufthansa Group, the second largest airline in Europe and a member of Star Alliance, operates a fleet of approximately 274 aircraft flying to more than 229 destinations worldwide. Aviator Airport Alliance is also part of Avia Solutions Group, the world’s largest ACMI (aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance) provider with a fleet of 214 passenger and cargo aircraft.
