Lemtrans has completed the first stage of construction and opened the Container Terminal Vinnytsia (CTV) in Ukraine. As part of this stage, new infrastructure was built: railways were laid, a container platform for 2,000 TEU was equipped, and a warehouse with an area of 3.5 thousand square meters was erected. The terminal occupies 8 hectares and can handle up to 30 thousand TEU per year.

CTV CEO Dmitry Balaba noted that the new terminal opens access for local exporters and importers to global logistics, eliminating dependence on large traders. He emphasized that this is a significant step for the economic development of the region. Investments in the project amounted to about 15 million dollars.

The first freight train arrived at the terminal in cooperation with UZ CARGO POLAND and the Liski Transport Service Center. The new service will regularly connect the Polish port of Gdansk with CTV, with the possibility of expanding routes in the future to Odessa and Western European countries.
