The initial phase will focus on the cargo division serving as a Ukrainian-Polish border railfreight operator, facilitating direct door-to-door transport services under unified management. This approach is expected to enhance operational efficiency at all border crossings with Poland, ensuring seamless logistics and transportation.
To support smooth cross-border operations, Ukrainian Railways Cargo Poland will utilize rolling stock compatible with both the European standard gauge (1,435 mm) and the broader gauge used in Ukraine (1,520 mm).
