PTC Cargo, a subsidiary of PTC Holding, has entered into a memorandum of cooperation with Jiangsu International Rail Freight Express Co., opening new horizons for jointly promoting assets and strengthening multimodal transport between China and Southeast Asia. According to the memorandum, the companies will work to develop the terminals of the PTC Holding group and use market demand to expand cooperation in rail, road and sea transportation.
Jiangsu International Rail Freight Express Co., a subsidiary of Jiangsu SOHO Holdings Group Co., Ltd., operates steadily on 24 routes, covering 26 countries in Europe and Asia. The memorandum was signed at the Transport and Logistic China 2024 exhibition in Shanghai, where PTC Holding is participating for the first time. Since May 2023, PTC Freight Agency, a subsidiary of the group, has been operating in the Chinese market, which has allowed the company to gain a foothold in this highly competitive market.
In a short period of time, PTC Holding managed to establish partnerships with global logistics giants such as China Ocean Shipping Company (COSCO) and China Railway International Multimodal Transportation Co., Ltd. (CRIMT). Together with COSCO, PTC FA transported more than 5 thousand containers in the first five months of 2024. The Kazakh operator has also established stable relations with Chinese automakers, supplying auto kits for assembly to the sites of SaryArkaAvtoprom JSC.
