KTZ Express and CFR Marfa entered into a Memorandum of Cooperation.

KTZ Express, a subsidiary of NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC, and the Romanian company CFR Marfa entered into a Memorandum of Cooperation. A meeting of representatives of the two companies took place in Astana, where joint projects in the transport and logistics sector were discussed.

During the meeting, Kazakhstan’s work on the development of the transport and logistics industry, as well as issues of expanding the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) were discussed. Particular attention was paid to increasing the presence of KTZ Express on the route from the port of Constanta to Budapest, which is a key distribution hub for cargo to Europe.

As a result of the meeting, the parties reached a number of agreements, which were recorded in the signed Memorandum of Cooperation. This agreement is aimed at the further development and implementation of joint projects in the field of transport and logistics.
