During his visit to China, General Director of KTZ Express JSC Damir Kozhakhmetov held negotiations with the management of one of the largest port groups in China – Lianyungang Port Group LLC.
The main attention at the meeting was paid to a new joint project for the construction of a container hub in the port of Aktau. The details of cooperation were discussed and a plan for further action was outlined.
The new container hub will provide infrastructure for the processing and shipment of container cargo in various directions through the port of Aktau, creating a service for the countries of the Caspian region and Central Asia. The Chinese side emphasized the importance of the project as part of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative.
