Marat Karabaev met with his Latvian colleague Kaspars Brishkens to sign a Memorandum on the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route. Discussion of the transport sector in Kazakhstan and Latvia revealed common points of view and development prospects.
Karabaev noted that the Trans-Caspian route has today become a key alternative route, which is confirmed by a significant increase in cargo transportation volumes in 2023. In turn, he invited Latvian investors to participate in infrastructure projects, which will stimulate further cooperation and development of the route.
