Global DTC Pte Ltd. and KTZ Express JSC announced the start of work on creating a digital corridor as part of the Trans-Caspian international transport route. A declaration on this was signed on May 23, 2024 in Singapore during the Kazakh-Singapore Business Forum with the participation of the Head of State of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The agreement provides for cooperation on the implementation of electronic customs clearance for the transit of goods moving by rail from China to the countries of the European Union through Kazakhstan, as well as joint activities to ensure the smooth operation of the Tez Customs digital platform on the Trans-Caspian route.
The Tez Customs platform has already been successfully used for customs declaration of goods in electronic format when delivered from China to the countries of Central Asia.
