Multimodal Tank Care, a collaboration between the cotac Group and Contargo, has inaugurated its facility adjacent to the Contargo Rhein-Neckar terminal in Ludwigshafen’s Kaiserwörthhafen. Offering comprehensive services for tank containers, including cleaning and maintenance for units up to 52 feet, the venture aims to meet industry demands effectively.
Strategically positioned next to the Contargo terminal, Multimodal Tank Care benefits from a trimodal connection and ample space for storing both empty and full tank containers. To accommodate increasing demands, the facility is expanding its capacity from 430 to 730 spots. This expansion not only addresses growing needs but also minimizes trucking tours, thereby reducing carbon emissions for customers.
