TMA Logistics is set to introduce a train shuttle service connecting the ports of Rotterdam and Amsterdam, operating four times a week with designated slots at deep-sea terminals in Rotterdam. By utilizing terminals such as RWG, ECT Rotterdam, and APM2, the shuttle aims to alleviate traffic congestion on the heavily traveled A4 highway, emphasizing its environmentally friendly approach.
Highlighting sustainability as a key feature, TMA Logistics, a prominent inland shipping company in the Netherlands, will seamlessly integrate the new train shuttle into its existing logistics services. This integration will enhance the company’s offerings, providing customers with a comprehensive range of multimodal transportation solutions. TMA Logistics, known for its extensive barge network, currently boasts 29 weekly departures between the bustling ports of Rotterdam and Amsterdam.
