ADY Container has recently established strategic collaborations with two of the world’s leading shipping giants – Maersk and Cosco. The joint efforts aim to enhance container shipments via both sea and rail routes to diverse destinations.

In the partnership with Maersk, the initial joint venture focuses on transporting containers laden with fish feed from Spain to Kazakhstan’s Aktau port. Maersk will transport these loaded containers to Georgia’s Poti port, where ADY Container takes charge of loading them onto platforms for railway transportation to Baku port. From Baku, the containers will be shipped to Aktau port by sea.

In collaboration with Cosco, a container train originating in Kazakhstan will enter Azerbaijan through the Yalama station, carrying containers filled with metallurgical industry products. ADY Container will oversee the transportation of these containers to Georgia’s Poti port. The subsequent leg of the journey involves shipping the containers to Italy. ADY Container functions as the operator for transportation within the territories of Azerbaijan and Georgia. The synergies formed with Maersk and Cosco are anticipated to significantly increase the volume of transit cargo passing through Azerbaijan.
