The traditional receptions for business partners of the Port of Koper in Austria and the Czech Republic were successful, attracting over 400 guests. The events, held at the Natural History Museum in Vienna and the Prague City Hall, provided a platform for networking, business interactions, and strengthening partnership ties within the Port of Koper community.

The Austrian market holds significant importance for the Port of Koper, with a presence in Vienna for over 50 years. Last year, more than 23 million tons of various goods were handled at the Port of Koper, with over 30% destined for the Austrian market. Nevenka Kržan, President of the Management Board of the Port of Koper, emphasized the strong connections and shared achievements with Austrian partners.

Following a break of several years, the reception in Prague gathered over 140 guests at the Prague City Hall. The Czech Republic is a crucial market for the Port of Koper, especially in the container and automobile segments. Ms. Kržan highlighted recent investments in port modernization and infrastructure development to meet the needs of the growing market.

The Prague event also provided an excellent opportunity to introduce the new representative of the Port of Koper for the Czech and Slovak markets, Igor Pamič. Pamič expressed enthusiasm for being part of the extended family and emphasized his commitment to strengthening ties with business partners in the Czech Republic.

Port of Koper plans to organize two more receptions in Bratislava and Budapest in mid-November.
