The Akmola branch of the railway exceeded its loading plan for 10 months of 2025.

The Akmola Railway Division demonstrated strong production results for the first ten months of 2025. Against a planned target of 7.4 million tons, actual handling totaled 8.15 million tons, representing 110.1% of the planned volume. This increase reached 748,400 tons, representing a nearly 50%, or 2.7 million tons, increase compared to the same period last year.

Grain handling contributed most to this growth: against a planned target of 5.17 million tons, 5.36 million tons were actually transported, a 176% increase year-on-year. A total of 83,480 railcars of grain were loaded, a significant portion of which was destined for export to Central Asian countries, Turkey, China, and Afghanistan, as well as to international destinations via the port of Aktau. During the period, 102,630 railcars (5.9 million tons) were shipped for export, while 24,155 railcars (2.26 million tons) were shipped domestically.

Despite a decline in volumes for certain items, such as milled products and construction materials, the regional branch completed the period with solid results. These strong results were achieved thanks to the team’s coordinated efforts and active shipment of grain crops, which allowed the Akmola branch to strengthen its position among the leaders in Kazakhstan’s railway industry.
