LTG Cargo Ukraine, a subsidiary of LTG Group, celebrated its fifth anniversary in the Ukrainian market by announcing significant changes to its operations. In 2025, the company changed its business model, transitioning from freight forwarding to rolling stock operation and leasing, signing lease agreements for over 400 railcars, and relocating to a new office in Lviv. LTG Cargo emphasizes that despite the war, the company continued to operate in Ukraine, adapting to extraordinary conditions and reaffirming its strategic belief in the future of the country and its transport market.

Since August of this year, LTG Cargo Ukraine has signed lease agreements for 405 units of rolling stock, including flatcars, boxcars, tank cars, mineral tankers, and cement tankers. According to Egle Šime, CEO of LTG Cargo, participating in the transportation of critical cargo for Ukraine has become an important step in the diversification of the group’s business. Saulius Stasiunas, head of LTG Cargo Ukraine, noted that negotiations with Ukrainian companies are ongoing, with additional investments and the delivery of new railcars planned for next year.

Since its founding in 2020, LTG Cargo Ukraine has played a significant role in establishing new logistics chains between Lithuania and Ukraine, including through Poland, where LTG Cargo Polska was simultaneously established. During the first months of the war, the company ensured the prompt transfer of cargo stranded at the Polish border to rail, participated in the creation of grain export routes, and organized the movement of 1520 mm gauge railcars between the Baltic countries and Ukraine. The relocation of the office from Kyiv to Lviv, to the Lviv Tech City business center, is expected to strengthen customer interactions and allow for a more accurate response to market needs.
