A delegation from Azerbaijan Railways (ADY), a subsidiary of AZCON Holding, held meetings in Tashkent with representatives of leading Uzbek freight transportation companies. The main topic of the talks was strengthening the strategic role of the Middle Corridor in the Eurasian transport system.
ADY representatives presented Azerbaijan’s transit potential along this route, emphasizing the potential for increasing interregional freight flows as a key factor in the corridor’s further development. During the meeting, the country’s modern railway and port infrastructure, as well as the company’s flexible and competitive multimodal solutions, were showcased.
The parties discussed prospects for increasing transportation volumes, optimizing logistics processes, and developing long-term partnerships. Uzbek freight forwarding companies expressed interest in jointly implementing projects along the Middle Corridor, including its southern route – the Eurasian Transport Route.
