KAZLOGISTICS summarized the results of 2025 and approved a plan for the development of the transport industry for 2026.

On February 19, the Final Annual General Meeting of the Kazakhstan Transport Workers’ Union “KAZLOGISTICS” was held in Astana. The meeting summarized the results of 2025 and identified priorities for the next period. The meeting was chaired by Talgat Aldybergenov, Head of the Union and Chairman of the Board of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy. Representatives of government agencies, industry associations, the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, heads of working groups by modes of transport, as well as Union members and the business community, participated in the event.

In accordance with the agenda, delegates approved the Union’s 2025 activity report, financial statements and the Audit Commission’s report, the 2026 budget, an action plan, the updated composition of the Audit Commission, as well as amendments and additions to the Charter and membership decisions. The heads of the working groups on rail, road, water transport, civil aviation, and transport logistics presented an analysis of problematic issues and proposals for improving the sector’s performance in 2026.

The congress focused on infrastructure modernization, increasing the capacity of transport corridors, developing multimodal transportation, and digitalizing logistics. Participants emphasized the need for consistent implementation of measures to strengthen Kazakhstan’s transit potential, expand international cooperation, and integrate into global routes. Following the meeting, the Union reaffirmed its strategic focus on enhancing the competitiveness of the transport and logistics sector and strengthening the country’s role as a key transit hub in Eurasia.
