The Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Huawei signed a memorandum of cooperation at the Mobile World Congress 2026 international exhibition. The document provides for the development of collaboration in the implementation of digital technologies and the exchange of experience in the application of modern IT solutions in the transport sector.
According to the agreement, the parties plan to collaborate on the creation of a unified intelligent transport system based on cloud technologies. This collaboration will cover rail, road, and port transport, as well as freight logistics. Particular attention will be paid to the implementation of advanced road infrastructure management tools, traffic flow coordination, and improved efficiency of logistics hubs.
The Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan expects the implementation of the memorandum to accelerate the digital transformation of the industry, improve the efficiency of the transport system, and strengthen the country’s integration into international transport corridors.
