MEDLOG and CMLOG open the largest joint cold warehouse in China.

On March 11, 2026, MEDLOG, part of the MSC Group, and China Master Logistics (CMLOG), a Chinese logistics company, announced the launch of a new joint venture with a network of five cold storage facilities in Shanghai, Tianqing, and Ningbo. The new facility is the third and largest in the joint network of cold storage facilities, supporting MEDLOG’s strategic expansion in the cold chain segment along China’s coastline and growing demand for imported frozen and perishable goods.

Located in Lingang, in the Shanghai Special Comprehensive Free Trade Zone, the warehouse is equipped with state-of-the-art automation systems and intelligent refrigeration control. The total capacity of the facility is approximately 80,000 tons, including bonded and free storage areas. It primarily focuses on frozen meat, as well as seafood, dairy products, fruit, and other perishable goods requiring strict temperature control.

The new warehouse is integrated into the MSC Group ecosystem and provides clients with comprehensive cold chain solutions: ocean freight, inland logistics, customs support, and warehousing. The project facilitates the development of cold chain logistics in China, improves the efficiency and reliability of supply chains, and strengthens Shanghai’s position as a key international trade hub.
