On April 1, Nippon Express (Deutschland) GmbH & Co. KG, a member of NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC., opened a new branch in Dresden, Germany. The division was created to strengthen its logistics infrastructure, focusing primarily on air and sea freight for customers in the semiconductor, high-tech, mechanical engineering, automotive, trade, and retail industries.

The state of Saxony, where Dresden is located, is considered one of Europe’s key hubs for semiconductors and advanced technologies, attracting international companies and investment in high-margin industries. Amid growing demand for specialized logistics, NX Germany views the region as a strategic growth point and is positioning its team closer to customers to quickly develop solutions and provide service support.

The Dresden branch will focus on air and sea freight not only within Europe but also to destinations in Asia, North America, the Middle East, and India. The company plans to provide services with increased quality control requirements, particularly for the semiconductor industry, combining local expertise with the capabilities of NX Group’s global network.
