AD Ports Group has agreed to acquire 100% of the core business of Germany-based MBS Logistics for AED 300 million, equivalent to approximately $81.7 million. The transaction excludes the company’s joint ventures and is expected to close in the second half of 2026, following approval from European regulatory authorities. Through this acquisition, AD Ports aims to strengthen its market presence in Germany and Central Europe.

MBS Logistics specializes in freight forwarding across the air, sea, road, and rail sectors. In 2025, the company generated revenue of approximately AED 870 million ($236.9 million), operating on an asset-light business model. AD Ports notes that this acquisition will establish a comprehensive platform for expanding freight forwarding operations in Europe while simultaneously extending its reach into the markets of China, Vietnam, and the United States.

The deal will also bolster AD Ports’ logistics cluster and the international network of Noatum Logistics, which currently comprises over 80 offices across 26 countries. The company stated that the integration of MBS Logistics will provide access to key multimodal hubs in Germany, support the expansion of operations in Northern Europe, the Benelux region, Switzerland, and Eastern Europe, and strengthen trade routes between Europe and Asia – including Trans-Pacific and Trans-Atlantic corridors.
