Polish logistics company Rohlig SUUS Logistics has opened a new cross-docking terminal in Kielce, significantly expanding its operational capabilities in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. Spanning 4,400 square meters, the new facility is more than twice the size of the previous terminal and is located near the S7 expressway, enabling faster regional, national, and international transport. This investment aims to meet the growing demand for transport and logistics services in the region.

The terminal is equipped with 25 loading docks and a transshipment ramp nearly 40 meters long, allowing for the daily handling of approximately 50 distribution vehicles and 40 domestic transport lines. Through this new facility, Rohlig SUUS Logistics provides regional distribution and last-mile delivery services, including the transport and installation of furniture, home appliances, and electronics. Additionally, the terminal handles FTL, LTL, and PTL shipments for both domestic and international routes.

The company notes that the growth of local industry – including construction material manufacturers and the metallurgical sector – is driving increased demand for the transport of raw materials, components, and finished goods. In the near future, Rohlig SUUS Logistics plans to expand the range of customs services at the site by establishing a customs clearance point, a customs warehouse, and a temporary cargo storage area. Looking ahead, the company is considering the introduction of warehousing logistics and additional value-added services, such as product packaging and order picking.
