The vessel, carrying 33,000 tons of potassium nitrate, departed from the port of Tocopilla (Chile) and proceeded along the southern coast of Latin America, entering the Atlantic Ocean. The final destination is the Spanish port of Cadiz, where unloading is planned. This voyage strengthens Azerbaijan’s position in international maritime logistics and demonstrates the capabilities of the country’s fleet at the global level.

The successful passage through the Strait of Magellan highlights Azerbaijan’s growing role in global maritime trade and expands its influence on strategically important routes.
