The parties discussed the prospects for strengthening ties between the countries and noted mutual interest in new projects.

GTS has launched a new train route Bari-Parma.

GTS has announced the launch of a new rail route from Bari to Parma, improving transport links between the south and north of Italy. The service will operate three times a week: from Bari on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and from Parma on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Ukrferry launched a ferry service between Bulgaria and Georgia.

On January 14, the Ukrainian shipping company Ukrferri opened a regular ferry service on the Varna (Bulgaria) – Batumi (Georgia) route. The first voyage on the line was the ferry Vilnius under the Panama flag, which can simultaneously transport 50 universal railway cars and 50 TIR heavy-duty trucks. After a successful round trip, the ship is planned to be used on a weekly basis.

The announcement comes ahead of the publication of the Competitiveness Compass and the Clean Industrial Deal.
