Kazakhstan and China are developing grain and feed exports.

JSC National Company Food Contract Corporation and China’s Shandong Hi-Speed ​​Qilu Eurasia Railway Express Co. Ltd. signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at developing the supply of grain, feed, and oilseed crops from Kazakhstan to China. The parties agreed to develop exports, including through contract farming, whereby crops are purchased from farmers during the sowing season.

Transport along the New Silk Road has fallen by a quarter.

In the first seven months of the year, rail freight volumes along the New Silk Road fell by 25.4% year-on-year to 170,700 TEU. According to the Eurasian Rail Alliance Index, the bulk of freight continues to be shipped from China to Poland, but volumes there also fell by 17% to 138,800 TEU.

Germany is losing cargo flows due to high fees and bureaucracy.

The German Aviation Association (BDL) has warned of a rapid shift of air cargo out of the country in favor of foreign hubs. According to the organization, costs and administrative barriers are making cargo handling in Germany increasingly unprofitable. AMPU and the Port of Gdansk strengthen cooperation at the BALTEXPO 2025 exhibition.
