KDL launches new automated warehouse in Lokeren with Movu Robotics system.

Belgian logistics company KDL is expanding its infrastructure with a new 18,000 m² warehouse in Lokeren. The facility is equipped with the advanced Movu Robotics Atlas Shuttle automation system, which manages more than 22,000 pallet positions in automatic mode and 11,000 in manual mode, supporting both Euro pallets and industrial pallets weighing up to 1,200 kg.

Craiss is expanding its logistics network in Germany for a major customer in the transport industry.

Craiss Generation Logistik GmbH & Co. KG is opening two new logistics sites in Augsburg and Munich as part of its expansion of cooperation with a leading manufacturer in the mobility sector. The Munich location will be integrated into the customer’s production chain, while the Augsburg location will serve as an external logistics hub with modern warehouses and handling infrastructure. Both locations will reach full operational capacity by the end of 2025, covering a total of 20,000 square meters.

Kazlogistics took part in the 13th Regional Trade Facilitation Meeting in Central Asia.

On April 24–25, the 13th Regional Meeting of the National Trade Facilitation Committees (NTFC) of Central Asian countries was held in Bishkek. The event brought together representatives of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, as well as international organizations and development partners to discuss digitalization, logistics reforms and trade policy assessment. Mukhtar Tolegen, Executive Director for Transport and Logistics, represented the Union of Transport Workers of Kazakhstan Kazlogistics in the forum.

Loft Logistics has opened a logistics hub in Malaysia to strengthen delivery between Singapore and West Malaysia.

Singapore-based logistics company Loft Logistics has expanded its presence in Southeast Asia with the opening of a new warehouse in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. Situated between the key logistics hubs of Port Klang and Kuala Lumpur, the facility offers a full range of fulfillment services: receiving, quality inspection, warehousing, order picking, returns management and delivery across West Malaysia.

KAZLOGISTICS discussed key issues and initiatives of civil aviation in Kazakhstan.

The Union of Transport Workers of Kazakhstan “KAZLOGISTICS” held a meeting of the Subcommittee on Civil Aviation under the Committee for Logistics and Transportation of the Presidium of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Atameken”. The agenda included issues that directly affect the development of the country’s aviation industry and the efficiency of logistics processes.

Mangistau region will become a key link in logistics: projects worth 1.9 trillion tenge will be implemented.

Transport Minister Marat Karabayev informed President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev about the implementation of 24 infrastructure projects in the Mangistau region worth 1.9 trillion tenge. Particular attention is paid to the development of the Trans-Caspian route: in 2024, the volume of transportation along it increased by 62% and reached 4.5 million tons. 358 container trains and 27 thousand vehicles have already been transported in this direction, and by 2028 it is planned to increase the cargo flow to 10 million tons.
