KTLF24: DB Cargo Eurasia GmbH production

Altynbek Akylbekov, Deputy Head of the Branch and Head of Logistics in Kazakhstan and Central Asia of DB Cargo Eurasia, presented the company’s main achievements, which include the first transit shipments along the Silk Road between China and Europe, as well as the formation of key routes such as Chuntsun-Duisburg. Klaipeda port has reached an important milestone in LNG bunkering

The Port of Klaipeda achieved a historic milestone with its inaugural ship-to-ship LNG bunkering operation. On April 9, the LNG tanker Avenir Aspiration successfully bunkered 326 cubic meters of liquefied natural gas to the 170-meter CMA CGM container vessel Containerships Aurora, showcasing the port’s dedication to sustainable maritime services. CMA CGM, which currently operates three LNG-powered vessels in the Baltic Sea, plans to expand its LNG-powered fleet to six in the near future, further solidifying Klaipeda’s position as a key player in green shipping initiatives.
