DSV delivers strong results following integration with DB Schenker.

In the third quarter of 2025, Danish transport and logistics company DSV delivered impressive financial results despite declining transport volumes and an unstable macroeconomic environment. Thanks to strict cost discipline and rapid integration with DB Schenker, the company strengthened its global market position. DSV’s gross profit increased to DKK 19.51 billion (€2.62 billion) from DKK 11.08 billion a year earlier, and its operating profit (EBIT) rose to DKK 5.43 billion (€728 million) compared to DKK 4.42 billion in the third quarter of 2024.

Estonian companies will ensure the supply of critical materials for Rail Baltica.

Framework agreements for the supply of microducts and cable ducts for the Rail Baltica project, a key cross-border high-speed rail project, have entered into force for the first time. Contracts have been signed with Höhle OÜ for the microducts and Pipelife Eesti AS for the cable ducts, ensuring long-term cooperation and ensuring that all materials meet strict safety and engineering standards.

The new automated entrance to the La Spezia container terminal has begun operating.

On November 3, a new automated entry system was launched at La Spezia Container Terminal (LSCT), marking the next step in the digital transformation of the Contship Italia group terminal. The project was implemented jointly with the Port Authority of Eastern Liguria and an international technology partner. The goal is to speed up, simplify, and make access for trucks to the terminal safer, while simultaneously improving environmental sustainability by reducing waiting times and emissions.

Dutch shipbuilding group Damen Shipyards Group closed 2024 with record results: revenue exceeded €3 billion, and net profit rose to €58 million, compared to €43 million the year before. Order book reached an all-time high of €10.4 billion after signing new contracts worth €5.9 billion.

Ukrzaliznytsia and the Howard Buffett Foundation signed contracts for the supply of innovative equipment.

Ukrzaliznytsia JSC has signed contracts with the Howard G. Buffett Foundation (HGBF) worth $9.2 million for the purchase of modern spare parts manufacturing equipment. According to Yevhen Shramko, a member of the company’s board of directors overseeing the Repair and Production division, the agreements provide for the supply of over 20 units of high-precision industrial and innovative equipment, including lathes and milling machines, 3D printers, scanners, thermal units, and other technologies.
