In Rüdenhausen, Bavaria, Garbe Industrial Real Estate and BentallGreenOak are building a modern logistics facility covering 16,000 m². Just four months after the start of construction, the topping out ceremony took place on May 23, symbolizing an important milestone in the implementation of the €25 million project.
During his visit to Georgia, Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC Rovshan Rustamov met with the new Director General of Georgian Railway JSC Lasha Abashidze. According to the report of the International Union of Combined Rail and Road Transport (UIRR), in 2024, the volume of multimodal freight transport in Europe increased by 5.19% compared to the previous year, while freight turnover in tonne-kilometers grew by 8.41%. Domestic transport developed most dynamically, especially in France and Poland, where an increase of 10.6% was recorded.
Belgorod-Dnistrovsky Sea Port signed a memorandum with APM Terminals Poti, the operator of the largest seaport in Georgia and a division of the global logistics company Maersk. This is the first such agreement of the Ukrainian port, aimed at developing cooperation within the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), also known as the Middle Corridor.
In the first quarter of 2025, German air cargo terminals handled 434,182 tonnes of air freight – almost as much as in the same period last year. However, the number of employees fell by 3.5% compared to 2024 and by 5.5% compared to the previous quarter, according to the Association of German Air Cargo Operators (Vacad).
From January to April 2025, the volume of rail transportation between Kazakhstan and China reached 11.4 million tons, which is 13% more than in the same period last year. 6.2 million tons (+5%) were transported through the Dostyk border crossing, 5.2 million tons (+24%) through Altynkol, reported JSC NC KTZ.

The rail operator METRANS continues to develop green logistics within the HHLA Pure service. In 2025, the company expanded its route network by connecting Istanbul, and all shipments in this direction, as previously on the sections between the ports of Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam, Gdansk, Koper, Rijeka and others, were successfully certified by TÜV Nord according to the TN-CC 020 standard.
The Poti Trans Terminal container terminal was put into operation on May 23, 2025. The project was implemented in 16 months with the support of investors from Kazakhstan, Georgia and Azerbaijan. The total investment amounted to $31.5 million, according to the Kazakh company PTC Holding.
