Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Georgia strengthen cooperation in the Middle Corridor.

On March 4, a trilateral meeting was held in Baku between the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Railways Rovshan Rustamov, the Head of the Georgian Railways David Peradze and the Chairman of the Board of the Kazakhstan Railways Nurlan Sauranbayev. The talks were held as part of the events of the International Association of Legal Entities “Trans-Caspian International Transport Route” (TITR).

Rail Baltica in Estonia: contract signed for new section.

The implementation of the international railway project Rail Baltica continues in Estonia. A contract was signed with AS TREV-2 Grupp in Järvakandi (Rapla County) for the construction of the 14-kilometer Kärpla-Selä section. According to Anvar Salomets, Head of Rail Baltic Estonia, Rail Baltica has already moved from concept to active construction, and the project strengthens the economic and geopolitical ties of the Baltic States with Europe.

The Hungarian Railway Association HUNGRAIL has presented the VÁGTA programme – an action plan for increasing the economic efficiency and competitiveness of rail freight transport. The document covers eight key areas and more than 40 measures aimed at reducing costs, improving the predictability of services and developing the railway infrastructure. The main goal is to create a reliable and environmentally sustainable alternative for the industrial sector.

The Kazakhstan-China Logistics Center in Xi’an, opened with the participation of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, is demonstrating impressive results a year after its launch. The terminal has become a key hub on the TITR route, ensuring significant growth in rail freight traffic between the two countries.
