KTZ Express and AD Ports Group launched a joint venture GulfLink Ltd. in Kazakhstan.

KTZ Express JSC and AD Ports Group announced the launch of GulfLink Ltd., a joint venture registered in Kazakhstan. The project is aimed at developing international multimodal routes connecting Asia, the Middle East and Europe, with an emphasis on the sustainability and flexibility of logistics chains. The ownership structure is distributed as follows: 51% – AD Ports Group, 49% – KTZ Express.

EP Logistics International launches new CEREx rail service for Central Europe.

EP Logistics International (EPLI), part of the EPH Group, has announced the launch of a new cross-border rail service, Central European Rail Express (CEREx), which will connect Germany and Hungary via the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The new corridor is designed to provide a stable rail connection between key logistics hubs in Central, Eastern and Western Europe, including countries such as Romania, Serbia, the Netherlands and Belgium.

Khorgos strengthens its position as a key railway hub between China, Europe and Central Asia.

Since the beginning of 2025, 4,476 freight trains have passed through the Khorgos railway border crossing on the China-Europe and Central Asia routes, an increase of 26.7% compared to the same period last year. Today, more than 80 routes connecting 18 countries pass through Khorgos. This growth confirms the strategic role of the crossing in the development of international logistics within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.

Major EU infrastructure projects called for maintaining centralised TEN-T funding.

The heads of four strategic European cross-border projects – Rail Baltica, the Lyon-Turin Tunnel (TELT), the Brenner Base Tunnel (BBT) and the Seine-North Europe Canal – have issued a joint statement calling on the European Commission, the European Parliament and EU Member States to maintain a centralised approach to funding under the Connecting Europe Facility III (CEF III). They believe that the move to national plans could delay the implementation of key TEN-T transport corridors that are important for economic integration, climate goals and the stability of Europe.

METRANS launches new intermodal connection between Arad and Bucharest.
