Port of Gdynia advances major dock construction project with EU funding

The Port of Gdynia is making significant progress in the construction of a dock bay, adhering to the established schedule. Utilizing the second-largest pile-driving machine in Europe, known as the pile driver, pile driving works are underway as part of a broader initiative funded by the European Union. The Port of Gdynia Authority secured 273 million zloty in EU funding within the Operational Programme for Infrastructure and Environment 2014-2020 for the comprehensive project.

The management of JSC NC AMTP and Food Corporation discussed cooperation in the port of Aktau

Today, in the port of Aktau, a meeting was held between the management of NC AMTP JSC and the delegation of NC Food Corporation JSC, headed by the Chairman of the Board Asylkhan Dzhuvashev. As part of ensuring uninterrupted grain exports to Iran through the port of Aktau, both companies emphasized the need for close cooperation. Chairman of the Board of NC AMTP JSC Abay Turikpenbaev expressed the need for active measures on the part of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with NC KTZ JSC and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to restore the volume of grain transportation at the level of previous years. Chairman of the Board of NC Food Corporation JSC Asylkhan Dzhuvashev emphasized the intention to continue close cooperation with NC AMTP JSC and announced negotiations at the level of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on organizing grain exports to Iran.

Flotte Hamburg invests in an environmentally friendly pilot transport vessel

Flotte Hamburg’s fleet embarks on the new year with the signing of a contract for the construction of a cutting-edge pilot transfer vessel. Following a competitive bidding process across Europe, Baltic Workboats AS in Estonia secured the contract to build an approximately 18-meter vessel named “Hamburg Pilot 1.” The estimated cost for the construction of the new vessel is around three million euros, with the possibility of ordering a second pilot transfer vessel of the same design.

CLdN acquires distribution terminal from Broekman Logistics

CLdN, a Belgian-Luxembourgish shipping and logistics group owned by the Cigrang family, is set to acquire the Distriport terminal from Broekman Logistics. This strategic move involves the sale of the 22-hectare terminal located in the Brittanniëhaven, which boasts 630 meters of quay, container transhipment and storage facilities, 50,000 square meters of covered warehouses, and transhipment capabilities for general cargo, high and heavy loads.
